Orhan Cem ÇETİN

He was born in 1960 in Istanbul.

He trained himself in the field of photography.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Boğaziçi University, Department of Psychology, and his master's degree in Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Bilgi University.

He lives and works in Istanbul.

His first solo exhibition, Familiar Things (Tanıdık Şeyler )(1988), drew attention with his alternative approach to photography. Since then, he has carried out many personal projects and participated in many joint projects with artists from different disciplines.

In addition to his art work, he earns his living by working as a consultant, editor, photography instructor and translator in the field of promotional photography, editorial photography, photographic techniques/technology.

He has lectured at different universities and private educational institutions since the late 1980s. He is still in the faculty of Bahçeşehir University and Galatasaray University and is a member of the board of trustees of ASKEV (Ayvalık Art Culture and Education Foundation).

Orhan Cem Çetin is known for his conceptual, interdisciplinary and courageous attitude in his exhibitions, shows and performances.

His essays and texts on photography culture appear in various print and online magazines.

He was born in 1954 in Istanbul.

He met photography at his father's photography studio when he was a child, and his lifestyle became integrated with photography.

After his high school education, he has been working in the photography studio that bears his name since 1972.

He became a founding member of the Diatek Diapositif Center in 1984.

He participated in many group exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions.

He received many awards in domestic and international competitions.

He was a jury member in Photography Contests.

His photographs were published in many national and international publications.

His photographs are in the Istanbul Modern Museum photography collection.

It has the title of AFIAP.

He thinks that photography can produce with purely aesthetic concerns as well as documents, and that it is one of the rare branches of art that can respond to the rapidly developing age with the same speed in every aspect.

He is a member of FOTOGEN Photography Association and an honorary member IFSAK.

Uğur Günay YAVUZ

She was born in 1977 in Ankara.

She received her undergraduate degree from Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Printing and Publishing in 1999, and her master's degree in Cinema TV program of Dokuz Eylul University Social Sciences Institute in 2002. In 2000, she started to work as a Research Assistant at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. In 2009, she completed her proficiency in art in the Department of Photography at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Institute of Social Sciences.

She opened personal exhibitions and performed shows at home and abroad, and participated in group exhibitions. She presented papers and published articles at national and international events.

She is still working as a faculty member and head of the Department of Photography at Akdeniz University Faculty of Fine Arts.
