A section from the photo of the Republic in its 98th year

As the TFSF Board of Directors, we consider the "Republican Exhibition", which we organized for the second time this year, as a prestige exhibition and strive for this purpose. The only prize of this exhibition for those who have devoted themselves to photography as amateurs or professionals is the honor of being chosen among the number of photographs as old as our Republic. I heartily congratulate the 98 people whose photos have been selected this year.

This year, a total of 462 people, 144 women and 318 men, from 60 provincial centers and our citizens living abroad, participated with 891 photographs. We thank them. Among this participation, 98 photographs were selected by our esteemed professors, who, as per our rules, will only be a member of the selection committee once in our exhibition project. On behalf of the management, I would like to thank  once again for this election and their efforts, which took place in the virtual environment due to the current Pandemic, Prof. Simber Atay, Assoc. Dr. Suzan Orhan and Assoc. Dr.Burcu Böcekler. 

In these exhibitions, as the Turkish Photography Art Federation Management, we aimed to record successful works in the art of photography in Turkey, as well as today's photography, as the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic approaches.

We published the photos of the first exhibition last year, which I had the honor of curating as the President of the TFSF, and this publication started to be delivered to the people with the photos. We will work to publish the photographs selected for this second exhibition. We believe that the exhibition will continue with increasing excitement and importance as long as our Republic, which is approaching 100 years old.

On behalf of the Turkish Photographic Art Federation Administration, we once again express our gratitude to the founders of our Republic, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gave us this freedom and whose value we increasingly appreciate every day.
