TFSF REPUBLIC EXHIBITION 2025

Dear photography friends,

We warmly welcome you to the “Republic Exhibition 2025”, held in honor of the 102nd anniversary of our Republic.

Wishing everyone a joyful October 29th Republic Day!

As the Türkiye Federation of Photographic Art (TFSF), we regard this exhibition, now in its sixth edition, not merely as a photographic event, but as a tribute and a living document added each year to the artistic memory of contemporary Türkiye.

The Republic Exhibition is open to all photographers, amateur or professional. It is not a competition, but a prestigious exhibition that carries the honor of being represented by as many photographs as the age of our Republic.

This year’s 102 photographs, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, have been meticulously selected by our distinguished jurors, esteemed experts in their respective fields.

Serving on this year’s Selection Committee:

• Prof. Emre İkizler (Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Head of the Department of Photography, Marmara University)

• Prof. Oktay Çolak (Faculty Member, Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts)

• Servet Sezgin (Head of the Department of Media and Communication, Sapanca Vocational School, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences)

On behalf of the TFSF Executive Board, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our esteemed professors for their devoted evaluations and for their valuable contributions in uniting the light of our Republic with the art of photography.

As TFSF, through these exhibitions, we continue to document the evolution of photographic art in Türkiye, the understanding of contemporary artistic production, and the transformation of our visual culture as we step into the second century of our Republic.

With this exhibition, we aim not only to reflect the aesthetic sensibility of our time, but also to embody the Republic’s enduring spirit of freedom, equality, and creativity.

This journey, which began in 2020, continues to grow stronger each year with greater solidarity, wider participation, and a deeper awareness of art.

As we celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, we witness how photographic art, like the Republic itself, renews, multiplies, and continually moves forward.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all members of the selection committee, the participating photographers, the exhibition team, and everyone who contributed to making this exhibition possible.

And of course, I respectfully express my profound gratitude to all the founders of our Republic , first and foremost, to Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Long live the Republic!

Long live photography; the art of free thought!
