Biography

He became interested in photography as a hobby in 2008, with the widespread use of digital technology in photography and the influence of internet sharing.

Considering that photography cannot be learned by just taking and sharing or watching, he created resources from serious publications. Then, he reinforced his knowledge thanks to the friendships he established with the masters. Based on the fact that the best way to learn is teaching, he learned the subtleties of photography thanks to the photography courses he gave.

He was hosted by the Europaische Fotoakademie in Germany in 2013 and awarded with the organization's certificate, and his work titled Broken Mirror was shown in the Photopsychology class at the same institution.

Always keeping in mind that a good photograph will be a very powerful means of expression, he reads photography and interprets its content by taking into account its sociological and psychological structure.

His comments have appeared in Anadolu Photography Magazine and BAFT Group in the past. Today, it continues on arthenos.com and in the Fotono21 group.

In order to make the photo comments easier to read and reach a wider audience, he created a simple and new style by narrating them under the name Letters to Kristal.

Instead of criticizing photographs, it strives to explain photography by making an effort to affirm and understand it with a real critical perspective, and to attract interest in good photography.

There was a strong desire to turn these comments into a book and become a resource for photography lovers, and the necessary preliminary work was done. The book could not be published because the financial burden could not be overcome.

He took part as a jury member in some national competitions. Among these, he sees taking part as a jury in the TFSF 100th Anniversary Exhibition and Çanakkale Historical Area Photography Contests as a medal of honor for serving this country through photography, especially in the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
