Biography
He was born in 1965 in Gaziantep. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty "Cinema-TV Photography" department. He received his master's degree in cinema and his doctorate in photography and the title of "Doctor of Science" with his doctoral thesis.
He held numerous solo exhibitions at home and abroad and worked as a curator. Many magazine articles have been published and he has given conferences at national and international meetings. He participated in many group exhibitions and received many national and international awards and exhibitions. Jury member took part in photo contests.
He took a photo trip to nearly 40 countries and around 300 cities. He was Vice President between 2013-2015 and he was president between 2017-2019 of Turkish Photographic Art Federation (TFSF). He is a member of Gaziantep Photography Art Association (GAFSAD) and İzmir Photography Art Association (İFOD). He is currently working as a member at DEU Fine Arts Faculty, Photography Department.
